Data Engineer (Go + Kafka)
Data engineering in the world of blockchain data is one of the hottest jobs today. We are looking for a talented and team-oriented Data Engineer with a few years of experience in building Data Products, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, eagerness to learn, and genuine desire and readiness to work in a fast-paced environment for a scale-up company in the Web3 industry.
At Token Flow, you will get to use the latest technologies and tools such as Kafka, Go/Rust, massive scale databases, modern data warehouses, streaming engines and much more. You will contribute to the continued refinement of the tech stack, architecture and development process to create the best in class platform in order to delight our customers.
You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining our data sourcing and ETL solutions, big data repositories, analytical databases, APIs and data quality assurance processes.
What you’ll need:
The ability to work as a data engineer in a diverse and agile team with a modern technology stack;
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a data engineer;
Strong knowledge and a high degree of interest in data processing and data quality assurance patterns, with the ability to implement robust high volume database structures and ETL processes;
Deep technical skills in Python, GO, SQL, and ideally experience with AWS and Snowflake data cloud;
Understanding of Kafka or similar streaming engines;
Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or appropriate professional experience;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
Practical experience in RUST or other modern programming languages;
Practical experience with design and development of RESTful services and GraphQL APIs;
Understanding of Blockchain primitives and applied cryptography;
Knowledge of the DeFi and wider blockchain ecosystem and key protocols on Ethereum and other blockchains;
Basic knowledge of financial concepts and markets.
